Yes, I know I've been slacking BIG TIME. I think I have finally recovered from the holidays. I've updated the website and we've got some great acts coming up! We have also scheduled some of your Beatnix Favorites, such as Kat Dixon, Bubba Waco, and Curtis Timmons to permanent dates, so mark that repeating event you love in your calendar!

Courtney Woodliff was born and raised in Waco, TX. After studying art for three years at McLennan Community College, she transferred to the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, where she received her B.F.A. Her favorite medias to work in are printmaking, drawing, collage, and sculpture. Her art has been shown in New York, Richmond, VA, and Central Texas. She likes to make art that relates to underground culture, weird dreams, and female trouble. Something she has often heard from people who see her art is, "my mind just doesn't think like that."

Exhibiting at Beatnix Coffeehouse

The gallery space is well designed with good lighting and a welcoming atmosphere. On offer is wall space for two dimensional work, and space is available for sculpture.

Diverse proposals are welcome – Beatnix is open to experimental projects and joint collaborations, and is also flexible in terms of installation, video work etc.
