Yes, I know I've been slacking BIG TIME. I think I have finally recovered from the holidays. I've updated the website and we've got some great acts coming up! We have also scheduled some of your Beatnix Favorites, such as Kat Dixon, Bubba Waco, and Curtis Timmons to permanent dates, so mark that repeating event you love in your calendar!

Presented by H.O.T. Poets, Open Mic Poetry Night already draws a rather diverse crowd and poets of all ages and backgrounds gather together to share their creativity. Penney Simpson hosts this family friendly event every Thursday night from 8 pm until 10 pm. Sign up begins at 7:30 pm. Presentations should be limited to three poems, or about five minutes. Because this an all ages event please use a PG-13 rating.
